When the lower buttock sags and surgery is not the plan

The patient in this video came in with looseness and laxity on the lower part of the buttock, the kind that appears after weight loss, after having children, or after previous procedures. That sagging on the buttock roll is one of the hardest areas to address without surgery.

Dr. Emer built a treatment that contracts the tissue from underneath: deep micro needling radio frequency combined with Alloclae or fat grafting to the buttock. The radio frequency goes deep enough to contract the skin and improve texture, tone and color, while the regenerative filler adds volume and shape.

What the treatment actually does

Micro needling radio frequency uses needles to contract tissue under the skin. Placed at the right depth, it tightens without causing fat loss. Alloclae is a regenerative filler made from cadaver extracellular matrix that integrates with surrounding tissue and molds into the muscle as you move and train.

Done together in one session, the combination lifts the buttock roll and firms the skin. The patient in this video is on his second or third session, and the improvement from the first treatment was already dramatic.

Downtime that fits a work schedule

There is no real downtime. Dr. Emer clears patients to work out the next day if they want, or to wait three days if they prefer to be conservative. One patient came in wearing a mini skirt, had the treatment done, and went right back to work in high heels.

Pain level is higher on the buttock than on other areas, but when done with topical numbing and injectable numbing at the same time as the filler, it is much less. The injected numbing that comes with the filler makes the micro needling radio frequency feel less painful.

Who this fits and what it takes

This treatment is for people who notice sagging on the lower buttock and do not want surgery. It takes two to three sessions of the micro needling radio frequency, and the filler may need maintenance a couple times a year depending on how much you work out and how your body responds.

The outcome also depends on what you do at home: working out to tighten the hamstrings and glutes, taking peptides and supplements to improve collagen production, and following the right skin care if you have darker skin tone to prevent hyperpigmentation. If you are not part of the process, you will not get the best outcome.
