Already muscular, ready for definition

The patient in this video is not starting from scratch. He is already very muscular and consistent with training. The goal is not to build mass, it is to chisel out and see the six-pack, sculpt the chest, remove fat from the sides, and define the arms.

In most cases, men who come in have extra fat and Dr. Emer is sculpting around that fat. Here, there is very minimal fat. The plan is to use whatever fat is available to lift the chest and shoulders, creating what Dr. Emer calls a gladiator muscular look.

What the treatment actually does

Dr. Emer marks the lateral borders of the chest and the sides to create a more angled look and tighten everything through the chest. He identifies the lower border where sculpting will happen and the upper borders where fat will be added.

This is an area many doctors skip when they do chest contouring: they do just the chest itself, but they do not do the border. Dr. Emer sculpts the chest, especially the borders, working right on the bone. Because the patient does not have much fat, the sculpting is meticulous.

Some of the fat is fibrous, so the PureGraft system filters it to give the best fat possible for the chest. Part of the reason for sculpting on the chest is to get rid of the fat at the bottom.

Gynecomastia excision and nipple lift

Along with the sculpting, Dr. Emer performs a gynecomastia excision and a nipple lift. This patient needed just a gentle lift, raised a little over a centimeter higher.

The combination of fat removal, fat grafting, and tissue excision creates the definition and lift that training alone could not achieve.

Who this fits

This is not a treatment for someone who does not train. It is a finishing tool for men who are already muscular and want the chest, abs, and sides to match the effort they are putting in at the gym.

Candidacy comes down to your build, your goals, and how much fat is available to work with, which is exactly what a consultation covers.
