From 330 pounds to 225, then from loose skin to a new shape
The patient in this video lost over 100 pounds. The weight came off through discipline and consistency, but the skin stayed behind: hanging from the torso, the chest, the flanks and the back. He came to Dr. Emer not to lose more weight, but to remove what the weight loss left and rebuild the shape underneath.
This was a two-stage surgical plan. Stage one removed the excess skin from the torso and back, contoured what remained, and harvested fat for grafting to the chest, buttock and male anatomy. Stage two lifted the chest, removed the remaining skin, and refined the contour with additional fat grafting and regenerative injectables.
What the first surgery removed and rebuilt
Dr. Emer and Dr. Rojos performed a full body lift: the excess skin from the abdomen, flanks, back and love handles was excised in one procedure. The tissue removed weighed between five and eight pounds. The belly button was repositioned higher and flatter, and the remaining skin was tightened with deep sutures and Renuvion energy to smooth and firm the surface.
Fat was harvested from the areas being debulked and purified using a filtration system with added stem cells and PRP. That fat was then grafted to the upper buttock for shape and lift, to the chest for volume and foundation, and to the penis for girth enhancement and rejuvenation. The goal was not just removal, but reconstruction.
Stage two: lifting the chest and refining the result
Weeks later, the patient returned for the second procedure. Dr. Emer removed the remaining skin from the chest and sides, performed additional liposuction to harvest more fat, and grafted that fat to even out the chest and build a foundation for the lift. The chest skin was then excised and the remaining tissue was lifted and closed, creating a flatter, more contoured upper body.
Renuvion was applied to the lower chest and sides to tighten areas that were not being excised but still needed firming. PRP and PMMA filler were injected into the fat grafting sites to increase blood supply and help the grafted fat survive. Additional filler was placed at the corona of the penis to prevent hooding and enhance the overall shape.
Recovery and the result one day after chest surgery
One day after the chest lift, the patient described the pain as low and the recovery as better than expected. The chest was swollen but visibly lifted, flatter and more contoured. He reported feeling strong and comfortable, with minimal discomfort beyond the expected tightness and drainage tubes.
Weeks later, he returned for blending injections to smooth mild asymmetries and indentations. He described the transformation as total: not just the physical change, but the confidence to look down at his own body and feel comfortable in it for the first time since puberty.
Who this surgery is for
This is not a weight loss procedure. It is a reconstruction for patients who have already lost significant weight and are left with excess skin that will not tighten on its own. Candidacy depends on how much skin remains, how much fat can be harvested for grafting, and whether the patient is medically cleared for a staged surgical plan.
A consultation with Dr. Emer covers your history, your goals, and whether a body lift with fat grafting fits your case.
