When the muscle is there but the skin won't show it
The patient in this video is very fit. The muscle is built. The problem is not fat, it is skin: a little looser from age or weight loss, enough movement that when he sits down the definition disappears and the wrinkling starts.
That is the case Dr. Emer designed this approach for. High definition liposculpture removes small amounts of fat and creates adhesion zones where the skin connects to the muscle below. Renuvion plasma tightens the skin from underneath. Fat grafting builds projection where the body needs it, like the shoulders and the center of the chest. The result is a carved, athletic look that reads in motion, not just standing still.
What the treatment actually does
Dr. Emer starts by lifting the fat with tumescent fluid, then sculpts the flanks, obliques, abs and chest with liposuction. He is meticulous about the adhesion zones: the lines that separate one muscle group from another, the dimples along the waist, the edge where the ribs meet the abs.
After the sculpting, renuvion plasma passes under the skin to deliver radiofrequency energy and tighten the tissue. This is what prevents wrinkling and keeps the definition visible when the patient moves. Finally, purified fat is placed into the shoulders and the center of the chest to increase projection and build the shape the muscle alone does not provide.
The patient also had gynecomastia reduction: the gland tissue was removed and the areola was lifted a full centimeter higher, closed with a dissolvable stitch.
Who this fits
This is not a fat loss procedure. It is a sculpting and tightening procedure for someone who is already muscular but has loose skin that hides the definition. The patient in this video could have been a candidate for a mini tuck to remove excess skin, but plasma tightening was enough to give him the result he wanted without the scar.
Candidacy depends on skin quality, how much sculpting makes sense for your build, and whether you are optimizing your health and training afterwards. As Dr. Emer says in the video, when this patient gets back to the gym and starts a peptide program, the result will look really amazing.
What happens after
Recovery is individual. The sculpting, plasma tightening and fat grafting are done in one session. The dissolvable stitches do not need to be removed. Swelling and bruising are expected, and the skin continues tightening for weeks as collagen remodels.
The goal is to get back to training and let the result firm into the work. This is a finishing tool for someone who is already disciplined, not a replacement for that discipline.
