The starting point
He lost more than 100 pounds. His face aged with it.
He is 32. Massive weight loss strips the soft tissue that dresses the facial skeleton, and his broad, square frame collapsed with it: hollow temples, sunken under-eyes with dark circles, a recessed-looking chin, a blunted jawline, deeper smile folds and a lax neck. Dr. Emer calls the case The Collapsed Fortress, a wide, powerful frame stripped bare by the weight loss.

In one visit in the New York office, filmed live, Dr. Emer delivered the FRAME™ phase of his MAXORIS™ plan. Undiluted Radiesse went on the bone at the temples, midface, chin and both jaw angles. Hyper-dilute Radiesse went in by cannula to soften the smile folds and the chin crease. Renuva went under the eyes by cannula, with no Radiesse in that zone.

This patient lost more than 100 pounds. What it is: Layered facial sculpting for men after weight loss uses filler placed on bone, hyper-diluted filler fanned through tissue, and regenerative materials that integrate with the patient's own fat to rebuild structure in the temples, midface, jawline and chin. The approach treats multiple depleted fat pads in one visit rather than enhancing a single area.

How much filler does this take?+

Weight loss cases often require more volume than enhancement cases because multiple fat pads are depleted. The patient in this video received filler in the temples, jaw, chin, midface and under the eyes in one session. Exact volume is decided during consultation based on how much was lost and where.

Is this permanent?+

Radiesse and hyaluronic acid filler last one to two years. Renuva is regenerative: it scaffolds your own fat, so the result builds over weeks and lasts as long as your fat does.

What is the downtime?+
