Why this was a rewrite

This patient came to Dr. Emer after a previous procedure left him with a lot of irregularities. In Dr. Emer's words, fat had been over-taken, and the result was bumps, scar tissue and a lack of definition that showed from the side.

Dr. Emer calls this the rewrite procedure, because the job is fixing something that went wrong before. He had to reshape everything: get the lower abdomen flat, build up the abs the patient already had underneath at the top, and use internal heating to tighten the tissue at the same time.

The chest and arms

Even as a young man, the patient had a downward sloping chest. The goal was a more sculpted chest, and at three months it reads bigger and more squared instead of sloping down.

The arms were sculpted as part of the same MAXORIS™ plan. Flexed, the separation between the bicep, the tricep and the shoulder is visible, the detail that makes the upper body look built rather than simply lean.

Muscle, not etching

Dr. Emer points out that many results online are stomachs etched into the fat. This patient's abs are his own muscle showing through his normal fat, which is what makes the result read as natural. The abs are starting to pop, the veins are starting to show, and the fibrosis from before is gone.

There is still a little looseness, and some redness that Dr. Emer expects to fade over time. Lasers such as Vbeam and Fraxel, plus skincare, can help bring that down.

The backside: male buttock sculpting

The patient already had good shape, but extra fat on the backside kept it from looking tight. After what Dr. Emer calls a male BBL or sculpting, the buttock is lifted and tight, with a rounded curve that runs from the rib margin down to the sacral bone and still keeps a small indentation.

What comes next

Dr. Emer expects another three months before the patient sees the ultimate result, and because he is working out, the improvement should continue. Options he mentions for refining further include a small amount of filler or fat, such as alloClae, to build certain areas slightly, and Morpheus8 or other skin tightening where there is looseness.

Every revision starts from a different history and different tissue. A consultation is where that plan gets built.
