On bone, not in tissue
Most injectors place filler into tissue, which creates bulk. Dr. Emer places Radiesse on the bone of the jawline and chin first to build the framework, then shapes the overlying tissue to match, so the result reads as structure rather than volume.
“If you know the anatomy, you can really define this out well. And for him and most guys that are coming to me as they get a little bit older or um if they have looser skin, the bone doesn't have support. And you don't want to just put it in the tissue and make it bulky.”
