Scar tissue is addressed first
Ultrasonic lipo and Renuvion plasma break apart and shrivel scar tissue, smoothing irregularities and allowing the skin to tighten.
When prior surgery left scar tissue and lost definition
Athletes, performers and executives cross oceans for one chair. His.
Dr. Jason Emer is a board-certified dermatologist and cosmetic surgeon who specializes in revision body contouring. When prior surgery leaves scar tissue, irregularities, and lost definition, he uses ultrasonic lipo, Renuvion plasma, fat grafting, and strategic filler placement to rebuild contour, repair hernias from inside, and enhance abs and chest in one plan.
Individual results vary. Revision complexity, scar tissue severity, and treatment scope are determined during consultation.

In certain lighting and with movement, the irregularities were visible.
This patient is athletic and fit, but previous body contouring left him with scar tissue, skin that would not contract properly, and lost definition in the abs. Other procedures had also affected the chest area, which was never treated well in the first place.
Dr. Emer corrected it all in one session: ultrasonic lipo to break apart scar tissue, Renuvion plasma to smooth irregularities, fat grafting to rebuild the chest, hernia repair from inside without external incisions, and strategic filler placement to enhance the abs. The result is a body that reads as contoured, defined, and natural.
The patient in this video is athletic and fit, but previous body contouring left him with scar tissue, skin that would not contract properly, and lost definition in the abs. In certain lighting and with movement, the irregularities were visible. Other procedures had also affected the chest area, which was never treated well in the first place.
This is a revision case, and Dr. Emer is seeing more of them lately. When technology is used too aggressively, without proper aftercare, or without the right technique, scar tissue develops and definition fades over time. This session addresses all of it: the scar tissue, the chest, the abs, and a hernia, in one plan.
Dr. Emer starts with a super wet technique, overfilling the area with tumescent fluid to lift the tissue and push scar tissue away. The skin is thick from prior surgery, so more fluid is necessary to separate the layers and prepare for the next steps.
Ultrasonic liposuction (Vaser) is then used to break apart scar tissue and push fat cells aside. The steam heat from the ultrasound shrinks and smooths the scar tissue. When the fat is removed, it appears whitish, a sign of heavy scar tissue mixed in. Some of that will be purified out for grafting, but removing it allows the skin to tighten significantly.
Renuvion plasma is applied next. Dr. Emer describes it as a game changer for loose skin and scar tissue like this. The plasma shrivels the scar tissue, smoothing out indentations and irregularities and creating a more even surface.
Why Dr. Emer
Two decades of results, a global patient base, and techniques other surgeons travel to learn.
Dr. Emer built his reputation on outcomes that read as natural at rest and unmistakable in motion. He pioneered high-definition body sculpting approaches that are now taught internationally, and he personally performs every procedure in his practice.
Revision cases require a different skill set: breaking apart scar tissue, correcting irregularities, and rebuilding contour without making things worse. Patients come to him when prior surgery did not deliver, when scar tissue developed, or when definition was lost over time.
Ultrasonic lipo and Renuvion plasma break apart and shrivel scar tissue, smoothing irregularities and allowing the skin to tighten.
Purified fat, with stem cells and exosomes added, is grafted to rebuild the chest and volumize areas where prior surgery created indentations.
Strategic filler placement into the abs and fascia creates definition that reads as natural and contoured.
The hernia is repaired from inside, tightening the hole and placing fat back into the area, with no external incisions.
How a full body revision is built
Breaking apart scar tissue, rebuilding contour, repairing a hernia, and enhancing abs and chest in one plan.
Tumescent fluid is overfilled to lift tissue and push scar tissue away. Ultrasonic lipo (Vaser) breaks apart scar tissue and pushes fat cells aside. The steam heat from the ultrasound shrinks and smooths scar tissue.
Renuvion plasma is applied to shrivel scar tissue, smooth out indentations and irregularities, and create a more even surface.
Purified fat, with stem cells and exosomes added to help it survive, is grafted to sculpt and define the chest borders, remove puffy tissue, and lift and define the chest.
The hernia is repaired from the inside, without opening the skin from the outside. The hole is tightened and the fat that came from inside the belly is placed back into the area, closing the hernia without external incisions.
A combination of a permanent filler and a non-permanent filler is placed into the abs, adhering into the tissue and into the fascia of the muscle to create more definition. A small amount of fat is also placed into the fascia and muscle to volumize areas where prior surgery created indentations.

Downtime depends on the scope of the revision, the amount of scar tissue, and how the session goes. That is covered during consultation.
