JUSTIN REVEPEEL CHEMICAL PEEL

Justin is a younger male who takes great care of his skin, but has been bothered by fine wrinkles, enlarged pores, and discoloration developing as he gets older. He has been doing monthly facials and peels, along with lasers and microneedling every 3 months to keep his skin soft, tight, pore-free, and smooth of wrinkles and discoloration. He came to Dr. Emer for a more significant treatment that would give a bigger skin improvement with improvement in overall texture, color and tone, in a single session. He noticed more recently despite all his skin care maintenance that his pores were starting to become larger, his under-eye circles more prominent and dark, and overall he felt his skin texture more dull as compared to previous years.

He went to Dr. Emer for a full facial assessment to determine what treatment would be best and it was recommended to him at this time to try and deep peel called RevePeel Forte or “ReveBlack.” This peel was created by Dr. Emer, customized with a combination of lactic acid, salicylic acid, trichloroacetic acid (TCA) and phenol to give a significant improvement. A unique formulation of a acid combinations helps penetrate skin deeper than most peels and it is oil-based so penetration is more slow, minimizing the risk of post-inflammatory pigmentation, scarring, or prolonged redness. The treated skin will darken, shed in sheets as it lifts pigmentation, and then exfoliate over the course of 5-10 days. Immediately the skin frosts and turns red, is inflammed for 24-72 hours, but is not very painful.

Justin was glowing and radiant 10-14 days after treatment, giving him back the skin he was hoping for and preparing him for future in-office laser and peel treatments and as well as his home skin care and weekly dermarolling. This treatment is especially effective prior to laser, microneedling or microneedling radiofrequency (RF) treatments to give bigger outcomes and more deeper results. See here how fantastic Justin looks after his treatment.
