This patient started to dark spots or “sun spots” on her face. As the formation of her hyperpigmentation progressed with time, she watched her confidence slowly decrease with each day that passed. This patient received the Cosmelan peel, a gold-standard peel containing a proprietary formulation of retinol, hydroquinone, kojic acid, vitamin c, azelaic acid, and arbutin to trigger both an exfoliative skin response as well as cell turnover.
