Beauty with Facial Sculpting

When you look in the mirror, you probably like the face you see for the most part. However, there could be improvements that can be achieved through facial sculpting at the office of Dr. Jason Emer. This is a procedure that can enhance the natural beauty that you already have so that you can enjoy a more youthful and refreshed appearance.

During the procedure, fatty deposits may be transferred to give a natural contour to your face. At times, chemical brow lifting may also be used to provide you with the natural appearance that you desire. Fillers can be added where needed in order to fill out any areas of your face that have lost volume. In addition, PRP and/or stem cells can be used to complement the other components of the procedure.

Men with sharp features such as squared-off jawlines, projected chins, and lifted cheek bones, are subliminally seen as more “attractive” and “masculine.” Rounder, longer, or oval faces with less sharp features are often percieved as more feminine or as a less “protective” male. Men have been seeking non-surgical enhancements of signature features such as the jawline to help tighen the contour on the jaw as well as give them a more structured face. Fillers can be used to build structure in these areas and internal or external heating and threads can be used to lift and tighten around the volumization. This younger male has a round face with less enhancement along the jawline. Although surgery, such as liposuction, #facetite, implants, or buccal fat pad removal can be used to build and contour his lower face, we tried a simple enhacement with fillers to give him an initial satisfaction and improvement. @Bellafill a PMMA (polymethyl methacrylate) and collagen based dermal filler was used to give subtle enhancement but long-term collagen production. Precise injection technique and placement is needed to create subliminal facial shape changes, but in the end he will have a more bold and squared off lower face that can be further built upon with non-invasive or surgical procedures in the future. As you can see, there are different procedures that are involved in facial sculpting. One may be liposuction for fat reduction in the neck and other areas. Injectable fillers are an option for sculpting your face, especially if you don’t have fat from other areas of the body that can be sculpted. Regardless of the technique(s) used, Dr. Emer knows exactly what to do to give you a natural look instead of one that appears to be artificial.

If you’re looking for a precise procedure that delivers the kind of results that you want, then facial sculpting at our office could be perfect for you. Fat and/or fillers can be placed in various areas to give a rounded look along the jawline and/or the cheeks.

For some women, the ideal facial shape typically perceived as ‘beautiful’ is heart-shaped, where the face is a little wider at the top and becomes more narrow towards the jawline. Our patient seen here, wanted to enhance her already beautifully balanced facial structure by adding subtle volume or ‘ lumping’ to the jowl area, chin and jawline, the areas of the lower face that affect how we see facial beauty. @restylaneusa products like #Defyne and #Refyne are unique because they are very soft products that holds shape while also providing optimal blending into the treated area so it moves with you naturally, unlike other hyaluronic acid fillers that can be less flexible, resulting in an unnatural look. We call this technique ’three-dimensional shaping’ because areas of movement like the mouth, chin and nasolabial folds require meticulous injections by an experienced injector for  a balanced, defined and youthful appearance.
