While certain cosmetic goals will necessitate a particular type of implant, the choice between silicone and saline implants is frequently a matter of patient preference. Saline implants are designed to give the breasts a full, round look. They consist of a silicone shell that is filled with sterile salt water. The volume of saline used to fill the shell varies from one patient to another based on their preferred breast size.
