HOW DOES BOTOX TREAT ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION?

Botox can make it easier to get and sustain an erection by letting more blood flow into the penis. Botox is a neuromodulator that is most widely known as a trusted cosmetic treatment for dynamic facial wrinkles and creases.

The efficacy of Botox as a treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED) and cosmetic concerns with the size and appearance of the penis is a consequence of the same attribute that allows it to temporarily erase facial wrinkles, which is its ability to relax overactive muscles.

The P-Shot promotes male sexual wellness using platelet-rich plasma (PRP). PRP, which is derived from the patient’s blood, can be injected to enhance erections and rejuvenate penile tissue.
Autologous fat transfer, or fat grafting, allows men to achieve permanent improvements in the length and/or girth of the penis. This treatment begins with a minimally invasive fat removal surgery called liposuction. Dr. Emer will use advanced liposuction techniques to extract unwanted fat cells from the flanks, abdomen, back, or other area of the body, as determined during your consultation. The fat can then be purified, enhanced with PRP, and injected into the penile tissue. In addition to firmer, trimmer body contours due to fat reduction, patients can benefit from a noticeable increase in penis size.
For patients who are very lean and do not have sufficient fat to harvest with liposuction and for those who prefer not to undergo surgical fat removal, dermal filler injections can be a great option for penile enhancement. Dr. Emer can help men accomplish their aesthetic goals regarding asymmetry, size-related concerns, and more with dermal fillers. Fillers provide temporary results that can be maintained with periodic retreatments.
Patients who are dissatisfied with the appearance of the scrotum and/or experience excessive sweating down under are often good candidates for Scrotox. Scrotox treatments involve Botox injections into the scrotum for benefits like lower-hanging balls, smoothing out scrotal wrinkles, and reducing sweat in the groin area.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING A BOCOX™️ TREATMENT

Dr. Emer provides BOCOX™ treatments in Beverly Hills at his state-of-the-art medical practice. The procedure typically takes less than an hour.

Topical anesthesia will be used to numb the penile tissue. Dr. Emer will then inject precise amounts of Botox into the corpus cavernosum, which is the spongy tissue that fills with blood to cause an erection. Due to the effects of the numbing agent, patients experience minimal-to-no discomfort during the injections.

Depending on your needs and whether your BOCOX™ treatment was combined with complementary procedures, Dr. Emer may follow your injections with a brief penis pumping session.

You can anticipate a quick return to your normal activities after BOCOX™. Since the procedure is non-surgical, there is no significant recovery period.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BOCOX™️ AND THE P-SHOT?

BOCOX™ and the P-Shot are both injectable treatments that improve the function and appearance of the penis. While the outcomes of BOCOX™ and P-Shot procedures can be similar, the active components of each respective treatment differ, which may make one a better option for some patients than others.

BOCOX™ injections produce results through use of a neurotoxin that temporarily freezes penile muscles to facilitate improved blood circulation to the penis. The P-Shot, in contrast, consists of a platelet-rich fibrin matrix and growth factors, which are derived from the patient’s blood. The P-Shot supports cosmetic and functional improvements by amplifying the body’s repair and regeneration processes in the genital area.

Some patients may not be suitable candidates for BOCOX™ due to allergies or certain medical conditions. For other patients, the P-Shot may not be a viable treatment option.

However, in many cases, the optimal treatment approach is to combine BOCOX™ and the P-Shot. For qualified patients, the combination of BOCOX™ and the P-Shot often provides the most more comprehensive and dramatic improvements.

HOW MUCH DOES BOCOX™️ COST?

The price of a BOCOX™ treatment reflects the amount of Botox required to produce a patient’s desired results. Typically, a BOCOX™ procedure involves a total of 100 units of Botox, with 50 units injected into each corpus cavernosi muscle.

However, the optimal dosage for you may differ and will be determined by Dr. Emer during your consultation. Once he has created your customized penile enhancement treatment plan, the associated costs will be reviewed with you.
