HOW DOES IT WORK?
InMode FaceTite and AccuTite are safe, effective, minimally invasive devices powered by radiofrequency (RF) energy. During treatment, RF energy is directed through a cannula and distributed evenly to the sublayers of the skin. The RF energy gradually produces heat beneath the skin. The RF heat causes skin to contract and liquefies the excess subcutaneous fat in the treatment area.
FaceTite and AccuTite can be used for permanent fat removal in a process known as radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL). With RFAL, thermal energy from FaceTite or AccuTite is delivered beneath the skin to melt unwanted fat. The melted fat can then be suctioned away through sculpting liposuction. RFAL can result in a smoother contour and skin texture without the lumps, bumps, and irregularities that are common following regular liposuction procedures.
The handpieces on the devices have two distinct components: a subdermal probe that emits RF energy and a surface probe that provides Dr. Emer with vital feedback in real-time throughout the procedure. Both probes measure and monitor the amount of heat delivered to the tissue.
Constant regulation of the RF energy helps to reduce the risk of scarring, indentations, discoloration, or irregularities. The device “beeps” repeatedly throughout the treatment to alert Dr. Emer to the amount of heat building up in the tissue.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR FACETITE OR ACCUTITE PROCEDURE
A FaceTite or AccuTite treatment may take up to an hour. The length of your procedure will depend on the size of the treatment area(s).
To minimize discomfort, Dr. Emer administers a local anesthetic prior to the procedure to numb the treatment area. While some patients choose to be asleep for the duration of the procedure, general anesthesia is not necessary.
During the procedure, Dr. Emer will insert the FaceTite or AccuTite probe through small incisions he makes in the treatment area. Through this probe, RF heat is sent directly to the subdermal tissue. A surface probe is used externally to ensure the most effective delivery of RF heat to the targeted tissue.
Once the area has been thoroughly treated with RF heat, the procedure is over. There is no need for stitches, as the necessary incisions are quite tiny.

HOW LONG DO IMPROVEMENTS LAST?
FaceTite and AccuTite can provide longer-lasting results than less invasive procedures. Fat reduction results with FaceTite and AccuTite are permanent for patients who stay at a healthy, optimal weight. The FDA has approved skin tightening results with FaceTite for one year, though many patients experience much longer-lasting effects.
Skin tightening improvements will be affected by your body’s natural aging process. Skin tightening results can often be extended with regular, minimally invasive maintenance treatments. WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER TREATMENT
Patients experience a weekend of downtime following a procedure with FaceTite or AccuTite. You can typically return to your everyday activities after one to three days. Over the course of several weeks, swelling in the treatment area will subside, and final results take shape.
Dr. Emer may combine FaceTite or AccuTite procedures with laser and/or microneedling RF treatments.
