Bellafill is a semi-permanent injectable filler made of bovine collagen and polymethl methacrylate (PMMA) microspheres. When injected, the collagen instantly provides volume at the treatment site, allowing for enhanced facial and body contours. The microspheres form a supportive structure under the skin that stimulates your body’s own production of collagen to maintain healthy, voluminous results.
Adequate collagen production is essential to prevent and slow signs of aging like wrinkles, furrows, and hollows. WHAT TO EXPECT

Prior to your procedure, Dr. Emer will perform a skin test with Bellafill to ensure that you do not have a collagen allergy. The Bellafill procedure itself is quick, typically taking between 15 and 60 minutes, depending on the treatment area. To begin, Dr. Emer will identify the best injection sites to achieve your desired outcome. He will cleanse the area and apply a topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort during the injections. Next, he will use his refined technique to administer the injections.

BELLAFILL RECOVERY AND RESULTS

As it is a minimally invasive procedure, there is no downtime with Bellafill. Patients can resume normal activities after the treatment.

Improvements will be visible immediately after your Bellafill injections. Unlike other fillers, which can be metabolized within a few months, Bellafill’s rejuvenating effects can last for five years. Acne scar treatment results typically last up to one year.
