If you are a candidate for eyelid surgery, you will be provided with information on how to prepare for surgery, what your unique procedure will entail, and what to expect during your recovery. It is our goal that patients are well-informed and comfortable at every step of the treatment process.
WHAT DOES EYELID SURGERY FOR WOMEN INVOLVE?
On the day of your surgery, anesthesia will be administered. After the medication has taken effect, the doctor will make tiny incisions, so he can access the tissue and muscle of the eyelids. He is meticulous about the placement of the incisions to ensure that post-treatment marks will not be noticeable.
Once the doctor has made all of the changes needed for achieving your desired outcome, he will close the incisions. You will then be monitored by our caring team until it is safe for you to go home. You will be able to go home the same day as your procedure, but you must plan for a friend or loved one to drive you.
You will be given detailed instructions to guide you through your eyelid surgery recovery period. It is important for you to rest and to take extreme care to protect the eyelids from excessive force and/or abrasion as the area heals.
OUR APPROACH TO EYELID SURGERY FOR WOMEN
