FORTE FIX PROCEDURE: WHAT TO EXPECT
A local anesthetic will be used to prevent discomfort as the Forte Fix PDO threads are placed under your skin. Once he is assured of your comfort and has marked the treatment site, as needed, to map out the optimal injection locations, Dr. Emer will use an ultrafine needle to insert the first Forte Fix thread.
When the thread is properly placed and anchored, the needle is removed. Then, Dr. Emer will repeat the process at the next insertion site until all necessary Forte Fix threads are in place.
