FAQ About the Brazilian Butt Lift

Brazilian Butt Lift

Have you heard about the Brazilian Butt Lift? This amazing way of getting the buttocks you have always wanted has been exploding in popularity lately, and for good reason. If you have wondered what this procedure entails and if it is right for you, our team is here to answer some of the most common questions about this procedure.

What Exactly is the Brazilian Butt Lift?

This procedure uses fat transfer for butt augmentation. Excess fat is harvested from a different area of the body, such as the abdomen or thighs. Liposuction is used to collect the fat, which is then purified before being injected into the buttocks.

Exactly what the procedure will entail will depend on your specific wants and needs. In many cases, Dr. Jason Emer, a board-certified dermatologist specializing in body contouring, will use additional techniques in order to keep your buttocks looking smooth. For instance, he can use internal skin heating devices like ThermiRF, Renuvion/J-Plasma, or InMode BodyTite for skin tightening in the treatment area. He may also incorporate Cellfina in order to minimize cellulite on the buttocks and thighs. You can learn more about how Dr. Emer performs the Brazilian Butt Lift by clicking here.

Who is a Good Candidate?

A good candidate for the Brazilian Butt Lift procedure is someone who feels they have flat buttocks. It is a highly-effective treatment option for those who feel they have flabby skin on their backsides. It is important to be in good overall health and have realistic expectations for the results of this procedure.

How Long Do the Results Last?

This procedure makes a dramatic difference in the appearance of your buttocks. Typically speaking, the improvements can last for years. This can be impacted by dramatic fluctuations in weight and/or pregnancy. Everyone’s body is different, but almost everyone will experience satisfactory, long-term results with this treatment option.

This patient of mine already had an amazing physique but wanted a tighter, more defined body. She had previous procedures leaving her with scar tissue and indentations that didn’t allow her to have the body shape she was looking for. Other physicians said she couldn’t have a revision liposuction procedure or that no body treatments to give her sculpting or defining results. She came to me looking for a solution, as she works out constantly but still had looseness and small problem areas. ⁣ ⁣ To give her tighter skin and a more athletic shape we performed energy-based liposuction with internal heating @renuvion. In the past, liposuction alone could make someone like my patient have looser skin or indentations and irregularities without sculpting. But with internal heating and defining hi-definition sculpting, you can see a tighten and defined look that improves with exercise over time. ⁣ ⁣ We added fat to her hips and buttock to give her more of a curve and lift to her buttock. Using your own fat is a great boost to volume that lasts long-term to reshape and contour the body. This type of liposuction needs precision, artistry and skill. ⁣ ⁣ Nothing is perfect when it comes to #cosmeticsurgery but we try our best everyday to product outstanding outcomes for our patients. ⁣ ⁣ Stay tuned for the #beforeandafter results.
