FaceTite and AccuTite
Conveniently located to serve Beverly Hills, Hollywood, and Los Angeles.
InMode FaceTite and InMode AccuTite are cosmetic enhancement devices specifically designed to treat small areas of minor skin laxity and excess fat. Board-certified dermatologist and skin tightening specialist Dr. Jason Emer utilizes these cutting-edge, internal heating devices to achieve dramatic skin rejuvenation and contouring results. At Dr. Emer’s medical practice in Beverly Hills, FaceTite and AccuTite have helped many patients revitalize the face and neck areas without the need for a more invasive cosmetic surgery.
What Can FaceTite and AccuTite Treat?
As we age, we become keenly aware of the natural changes in our facial appearance. We begin to notice sagging in our lower face, less definition in our jawline, submental fat, and excess volume in the neck. We also see loose, crepey skin around the mouth, under the chin, on the neck, and in the jowl area.
Non-invasive, energy-based devices like Thermage and Ultherapy can prevent sagging and tighten the skin over time through a series of treatments, but this approach is not ideal for every patient. For patients seeking immediate skin contraction and more significant, long-term improvements in tightening and contouring, FaceTite and AccuTite may be the best solution. With his expert technique, Dr. Emer is able to achieve considerable skin tightening and contouring of the face and neck with these advanced devices.
Similar to Renuvion (formerly J-Plasma), a comparable device that uses helium plasma radiofrequency to obtain skin tightening, FaceTite and AccuTite produce a “shrink wrap” effect in the treatment area. Areas such as the lower face, jawline, and neck can be treated with FaceTite. Smaller areas such as the nasolabial folds (smile lines), periorbital (around eyes) area, marionette lines (mouth lines), jowls, bra roll, knees, and vagina can be treated with AccuTite
Right for you?
Am I a Good Candidate for FaceTite or AccuTite?
FaceTite and AccuTite can be ideal for patients who want optimal outcomes in skin tightening but who want to avoid more invasive surgical procedures. A surgical facelift or neck lift can provide the most comprehensive and long-lasting improvements to the facial profile, but not every patient is a good candidate for cosmetic surgery.
FaceTite and AccuTite provide an alternative to cosmetic surgery for patients with more advanced signs of aging or loose skin than can be treated with non-invasive procedures, but whose concerns may not be severe enough to warrant cosmetic surgery. The best candidates for FaceTite and AccuTite are often those who have completed weight loss transformations and have mild skin laxity as a result.
Individuals with skin laxity (with or without underlying fat concerns) who are hoping to obtain quick, surgical-like results with minimal downtime should schedule a formal evaluation with board-certified dermatologist Dr. Jason Emer to determine if they are a good candidate. Dr. Emer customizes each procedure to treat his patients’ unique needs and goals in order to get the best possible outcome with long-term results.
How Does It Work?
InMode FaceTite and AccuTite are safe, effective, minimally invasive devices powered by radiofrequency (RF) energy. During treatment, RF energy is directed through a cannula and distributed evenly to the sublayers of the skin. The RF energy gradually produces heat beneath the skin. The RF heat causes skin to contract and liquefies the excess subcutaneous fat in the treatment area.
FaceTite and AccuTite can be used for permanent fat removal in a process known as radiofrequency assisted lipolysis (RFAL). With RFAL, thermal energy from FaceTite or AccuTite is delivered beneath the skin to melt unwanted fat. The melted fat can then be suctioned away through sculpting liposuction. RFAL can result in a smoother contour and skin texture without the lumps, bumps, and irregularities that are common following regular liposuction procedures.
The handpieces on the devices have two distinct components: a subdermal probe that emits RF energy and a surface probe that provides Dr. Emer with vital feedback in real-time throughout the procedure. Both probes measure and monitor the amount of heat delivered to the tissue.
Constant regulation of the RF energy helps to reduce the risk of scarring, indentations, discoloration, or irregularities. The device “beeps” repeatedly throughout the treatment to alert Dr. Emer to the amount of heat building up in the tissue.
Due to the intense heat generated, it is essential that this procedure is performed by a board-certified dermatologist and specialist in internal RF heating. Dr. Emer’s extensive experience with internal RF heating ensures a safe procedure with minimal risks of scarring or pigmentation changes.
What to Expect During Your FaceTite or AccuTite Procedure
A FaceTite or AccuTite treatment may take up to an hour. The length of your procedure will depend on the size of the treatment area(s).
To minimize discomfort, Dr. Emer administers a local anesthetic prior to the procedure to numb the treatment area. While some patients choose to be asleep for the duration of the procedure, general anesthesia is not necessary.
During the procedure, Dr. Emer will insert the FaceTite or AccuTite probe through small incisions he makes in the treatment area. Through this probe, RF heat is sent directly to the subdermal tissue. A surface probe is used externally to ensure the most effective delivery of RF heat to the targeted tissue.
Once the area has been thoroughly treated with RF heat, the procedure is over. There is no need for stitches, as the necessary incisions are quite tiny.
How Long Do Improvements Last?
FaceTite and AccuTite can provide longer-lasting results than less invasive procedures. Fat reduction results with FaceTite and AccuTite are permanent for patients who stay at a healthy, optimal weight. The FDA has approved skin tightening results with FaceTite for one year, though many patients experience much longer-lasting effects.
Skin tightening improvements will be affected by your body’s natural aging process. Skin tightening results can often be extended with regular, minimally invasive maintenance treatments. To promote long-term results, Dr. Emer typically recommends monthly Venus Legacy, Exilis Ultra, and InMode Forma/Contoura treatments, which aid in skin tightening and stimulate collagen production.
What to Expect After Treatment
Patients experience a weekend of downtime following a procedure with FaceTite or AccuTite. You can typically return to your everyday activities after one to three days. Over the course of several weeks, swelling in the treatment area will subside, and final results take shape.
Dr. Emer may combine FaceTite or AccuTite procedures with laser and/or microneedling RF treatments. Laser treatments (such as Fraxel) and/or microneedling RF treatments (such as InMode Fractora or Morpheus8) can be performed simultaneously or in the weeks after a FaceTite or AccuTite procedure. These complementary treatments provide additional skin tightening and improve sun damage, fine lines and wrinkles, and crepey skin.
The Dr. Emer Difference
How Does Dr. Emer Do it Differently?
FaceTite and AccuTite have proven to be highly effective, state-of-the-art devices. However, Dr. Jason Emer never relies on a single filler, freezer, laser, procedure, or device to obtain long-term improvements for his patients.
In his vast experience, Dr. Emer has found that patient-tailored combination procedures that employ a range of methodologies, technologies, and devices are the best means (or perhaps the only means) of achieving optimal improvement without surgical intervention. Dr. Emer frequently combines internal RF devices with external microneedling RF (such as InMode Fractora, InMode Morpheus8, or EndyMed Intensif) and Sculptra injections for long-term collagen production.
Face and Neck Tightening with FaceTite + Lipocontouring
No matter how much we exercise or diet, genetics can leave us with stubborn pockets of fat in areas like the lower face and neck. FaceTite paired with Hi-Definition liposuction, or lipocontouring, can reduce unwanted fullness and sagging skin in the lower face.
In one quick treatment, Dr. Emer is able to remove fat, tighten the skin, and contour the lower face, jawline, and jowls.
To deliver substantial improvements, Dr. Emer first uses InMode FaceTite or AccuTite to internally heat and contract the skin in these areas. Then, the neck is shaped with HD lipocontouring to remove stubborn fat and provide improved definition. A non-surgical facelift with FaceTite includes far less downtime than one would experience with a surgical lifting procedure, while still providing remarkable improvements.
For patients with significant skin laxity in the neck who are not good candidates for a surgical neck lift or who prefer not to have a cosmetic surgery, Dr. Emer proposes a midline neck lift or a submental lift / platysmaplasty. For those seeking more lower face contouring without a surgical facelift, FaceTite can be paired with a Buccal Fat Pad Reduction, which removes the excess fat pads from the lower face and cheek, transforming the face from a “chubby” appearance to one that is slimmer and more chiseled.
Jawline Contouring with FaceTite
Loose facial skin can be a significant obstacle in achieving definition and balance in your facial features. For patients with a lack of jawline definition and loose submental skin (under the chin), a minimally invasive InMode FaceTite/AccuTite procedure is an excellent alternative to cosmetic surgery.
In the hands of a highly skilled and experienced dermatologist like Dr. Emer, FaceTite can stimulate skin contraction in the lower face, and AccuTite can tighten areas along the jawline and around the mouth. The two complementary devices can help sculpt a sharper, contoured, and defined jawline.
For enhanced jawline contouring results, Dr. Emer typically combines FaceTite and AccuTite with dermal fillers. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers can be used to create aesthetic proportions throughout the jawline, chin, and midface/cheeks. Sculptra, an injectable collagen stimulator, can also be used to sculpt facial features and promote long-term improvements in skin tone.
Facial Skin Tightening with AccuTite (“Baby FaceTite”)
The smallest minimally invasive RF skin tightening device available on the market is InMode AccuTite, or “Baby FaceTite.” AccuTite provides the same internal heating for skin tightening and fat reduction benefits as FaceTite.
However, AccuTite is designed to tackle the most delicate treatment areas. Dr. Emer often uses AccuTite to treat the forehead, periorbital area (around the eyes), eyelids, eyebrows, nasolabial folds (smile lines), marionette lines (lines around the mouth), jawline, neck, and hands. AccuTite is also ideal for reducing the bra roll and addressing fat and loose skin in the armpit area.
Dr. Jason Emer was the first dermatologist in the nation to offer AccuTite. His Beverly Hills medical practice continues to be the top choice for patients seeking non-surgical facelifts and neck lifts with this advanced device.
Dr. Emer is highly skilled at using AccuTite to target smaller areas and deliver very precise tissue remodeling. For patients with minimal loose skin and no excess fat in the neck, AccuTite is a safe, 15-minute, skin tightening solution. AccuTite can be performed while patients are either asleep or awake. “Baby FaceTite” treatments typically require only a weekend of downtime and do not involve the cost or complications of a surgical facelift, neck lift, or platysmaplasty procedure.
Dr. Emer complements AccuTite with injectables and minimally invasive procedures. He often performs neuromodulator injections (Botox, Dysport, Xeomin, or Jeuveau), laser treatments, Silhouette InstaLift thread lifting, and microneedling RF (Morpheus8 or EndyMed Intensif) to further tighten and contour areas such as the jawline, neck, and jowls to optimize AccuTite results.
How Much Does Treatment with FaceTite or AccuTite Cost?
Dr. Emer will create a unique treatment plan to address your cosmetic concerns. The cost of your treatment with FaceTite or AccuTite will be determined at your consultation. The price of your skin rejuvenation and body sculpting treatment will depend on the number of treatment areas, the size of the treatment areas, and which complementary procedures are needed to provide the best results.
